The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Exceeds the Highest Standards!!

The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado has been released and exceeds the highest of standards.  The new Silverado is stronger, smarter and more capable than ever with updated features that you have come to expect from Chevrolet trucks.  You won't find a better truck than this trusty 2014 Chevrolet Silverado The biggest change over 2013 is the use of the "high strength steel" for the majority of the cabin and in re-designed frame members.  New electrically assisted power steering adds feedback and enhances steering precision, the brakes are also re-done to add "feel" with beefed up rotors on LT/LTZ models.      New EcoTec3 v-8 powerplants (as in GMC) are being added.  These all-aluminum engines have direct fuel injection, variable valve timing and active fuel management that lets them step-down to 4 cylinders for economy. GMC is ahead of the curve with the New All-Terrain Model GMC Sierra .  The new Sierra has been released and offers features that are second to none. The GMC Sierra is an all-terrain model with carbon fiber-styled seat trim and red stitching. Sierra comes standard with a soft-touch instrument panel, aluminum trimmed instrument panel, steering wheel and center console, center console with added storage (even a laptop will fit), USB ports and 12V charging outlets and locking under seat storage compartment on bench seat SLE models.    Construction highlights include triple door seals, improved aerodynamics, and enhanced noise and vibration dampening. Buick Introduces the all NEW 2014 Verano Turbo

The Buick Verano Turbo is GM's offering in the mid-sized luxury market ramping up interior creature comforts and boosting last year's performance.   Base price starts at $23K and runs to $27K fully equipped.  This new model gets  a turbo-charged 250 HP, 2.o-liter 4 cylinder bolted to a 6-speedmanual or automatic transmission that Buick says can reach 60 in 6.2 seconds ( and still get 32 MPG highway).  All Veranos get IntelliLink and a rear view camera standard.  Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are standard on all other models. Safety features include Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Side BlindZone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, as well as 10 air bags, Anti-Lock Brakes, full-function Traction Control, OnStar and a comprehensive child seat LATCH system. The Final Hot Summer Nights will be this Friday Night!!

It is almost time for the final Hot Summer Nights !!!  What a great turn out this series of events has brought to the Lake - and as a car lover, I can tell you there have been some outstanding vehicles on display.  This Friday night, from 6-11pm, will be the final show and it is set to be a great one!! The evening will kick off with a special opening by the Marine Corps Color Guard to pay tribute to all of our military, both veterans and active duty.
