St Patrick's Day is almost here and it's time to pull out the shamrocks and go green!!! Ever wonder why shamrocks/4-Leaf clovers are associated with St Patty's Day? Here's a little history and some fun facts about the 4-Leaf clover. During the fifth century, Saint Patrick's mission was to convert many pagan Celts to Christianity and by using the Irish Shamrock, he was able to illustrate the concept of the Holy Trinity. One leaf represented the Father, one the Son and one the Holy Ghost. The use of the shamrock was a very successful tool for Saint Patrick and won many hearts to Christianity. The use of the Shamrock illustration by Saint Patrick resulted in it becoming the symbol of the Catholic underground.
