It's getting close to that time of year when we head out for our spring break getaway and our summer vacations!!   If you have plans of taking your furry little friends along, you will want to make the trip a good adventure for both you and your pet.   Here are a few tips that might make you travel time smoother!! Consult your Vet before traveling - it's always a good idea to make sure your pet is in good health to make the trip!   Your vet can make sure you vaccinations are up to date, prescribe any necessary medicines and give you a clean bill of health for travel.   Pack plenty of treats and a combination of new and old toys.  You wouldn't dare go on long trip without bringing your book, ipad or other gadgets to occupy yourself and your pets should be no different.  The toys and treats will keep them occupied and make the drive much more enjoyable. Four Leaf Clovers and The Luck of the Irish

St Patrick's Day is almost here and it's time to pull out the shamrocks and go green!!!  Ever wonder why shamrocks/4-Leaf clovers are associated with St Patty's Day?  Here's a little history and some fun facts about the 4-Leaf clover. During the fifth century, Saint Patrick's mission was to convert many pagan Celts to Christianity and by using the Irish Shamrock, he was able to illustrate the concept of the Holy Trinity.  One leaf represented the Father, one the Son and one the Holy Ghost.  The use of the shamrock was a very successful tool for Saint Patrick and won many hearts to Christianity. The use of the Shamrock illustration by Saint Patrick resulted in it becoming the symbol of the Catholic underground.  During the 19th century, during prosecution of the Catholics in Ireland, anyone caught wearing a shamrock charm would face a punishment as severe as death! The Chevy SS makes its Nascar Debut!!

The Chevy SS made its debut in the Nascar Sprint Cup Series season and there was no disappointment from Team Chevy.   The Chevy SS was proud to bring home a win at Daytona with Jimmie Johnson at the wheel, not to mention Danica Patrick starting in the pole position in the #10 Chevy SS.  With the all-new production model Chevrolet SS pacing, Patrick, paired with Jeff Gordon in the #24 car, led an all-Chevy front row to the green flag. Once the race began, NASCAR fans were able to see the production SS pacing its racing sibling.
