Me Not Horse Rescue and Sanctuary
They are a group of men and women that are making a
difference in the lives of horses that have been abused, neglected, abandoned
or surrendered. Their goal is to provide a safe and secure environment where
horses can heal emotionally and physically. Where they can transition to the
next phase of their life – as a permanent resident at the sanctuary or at a
pre-approved home.
Since 2011 they have taken in over 189 horses and have had
123 adoptions with other horses being sponsored or placed in foster homes.
Their main source of support is private donations and
various fundraisers that are held throughout the year.

About The Club at
Porto Cima
It is the only 18-hole waterfront Jack Nicklaus-Signature course
in Missouri and was recognized by Golf Digest as one of the top private courses
in the nation. To be deemed “Signature” status, the architect of a course has
to be involved on both the drafting-table and the terra firma end and every
point in between. The golf course features five sets of tees, generous landing
areas and seven holes that play beside or over the Lake. The front nine is cut
out of a thick oak forest and plays through undulating terrain with a number of
elevation changes and uneven lies. This makes club selection and shot selection
a priority. The back nine opens up and has much gentler elevation changes. With
five holes playing along The Lake of the Ozarks, maintaining your focus within
the beauty is a challenge.
