Chevrolet's #IDriveFor Campaign
October is breast cancer awareness month and here at Hulett Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, we want to do our part. The best car dealership at the Lake of the Ozarks will be donating $5 for every person that comes in and takes a picture with our giant ribbon cutouts. We also encourage you to take part in Chevrolet’s #IDriveFor campaign! Check out more information below.
From Chevrolet
When it comes to breast cancer, no one should have to face it alone. With 1 in 8 women being diagnosed, we’re more driven than ever to change the statistic. That’s why for the seventh year in a row, Chevrolet and our Dealers are partnering with the American Cancer Society to make strides against breast cancer. Through our partnership, we’ve contributed $7.8 million to the American Cancer Society benefitting breast cancer screening, patient care, and research.
Join our efforts by finding a walk, making a contribution or by creating an #IDriveFor team. During the month of October, Chevrolet will contribute $5 to the American Cancer Society for every #IDriveFor on Twitter and Instagram. We believe that together we can reach our destination and one day put an end to breast cancer.
How Common is Breast Cancer?
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers. Currently, the average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 12%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance she will develop breast cancer.
